African Geography 101

It’s time for Africa in our series devoted to geography. As a large part of the continent doesn’t rank high for tourist destinations, Africa is often overlooked. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth becoming acquainted with it’s many diverse countries. In fact it’s the continent with the most countries and they vary vastly in culture, language, and landscape. It’s an endlessly fascinating part of the world.

So if you haven’t already had the pleasure of visiting, or even if you’ve travelled there extensively, take a look at the map below. You can hover over each country to reveal its name and you will find the full list of countries along with their capitals below.

I urge you to thoroughly learn and memorize this information as it’s essential for a Lady to be aware of the world around her.

*Bonus: If you want to learn “quiz style” check out this helpful (and free) site that tests your geography knowledge. I found it to be an effective and fun way to to master my geography skills. http://lizardpoint.com/geography/
